NYC appearances this week
Everyone in my home is asleep. I should be. But I'm staring at my screen, thinking, "Shouldn't I blog more? Once a week? Isn't that what teen authors do?" But I can't because...
1. I have a new baby and I'm holding him almost all the time.
2. When I'm not holding him, I'm showering my 5-year-old with love/attention.
3. When I'm not tending to young charges, I'm folding laundry, trying to write, hanging out with husband, trying to remember the last time I showered, trying to squeeze into pre-preg clothes, wondering if I can write today, heating up pasta, wondering if I showered today, reminding myself to make a dentist appointment, hoping to write.
So blogging is low priority as - I'm telling myself - it should be. Nope, didn't shower. Or make dentist appointment. Did write (phew).
Oh, and try to check out the amazing Teen Author Book Festival this week!!
I'll be on a panel tomorrow (Monday) eve at the NYPL and signing on Sunday at Books of Wonder. See schedule for more.
Off to bed with the rest of them.
Love,
C
